October flew by in a flurry of finished projects, from cozy blankets and festive gnomes to lace scarves and sweaters-in-progress, as I leaned into the rhythm of fall knitting and seasonal inspiration. Amid new tools, creative challenges, and a renewed focus on balance and self-care, I reflect on finding joy in both her stitches and her evolving work-life creativity.

September brought three finished projects—a reversible double-knit hat, a colorful textured cowl, and a 1,500-yard colorwork poncho—with more items coming to the shop soon. October’s lineup includes cozy sweaters, a lace scarf, a baby blanket, and even a Christmas gnome. Heather’s also eyeing a new fall-themed gnome knitalong and custom holiday sweaters. Beyond knitting, she’s celebrating her daughter’s 9th birthday, diving into Taylor Swift’s new album, and settling into a new role at Spring Health.
