We wanted to knit this hat for the longest time but were worried about how to make that amazing Latvian braid that appears around the middle and at the brim. It turns out that the technique only looks intimidating - it was actually easy and fun to knit, and the result is eye-popping. Colorwork hats are so fun to knit, and because they're knitted with two strands of yarn per row, the result is extra warm and cozy.
This hat is knit out of 100% merino wool.
